The Big Swifty are a dynamic and exciting 3-piece coverband playing a vast range of songs from the 60's right through to today's biggest hits.

 

Currently, Dave Hughes, Bob Tolputt and Sam Merlo make up the power trio that has been making people dance for well over a decade. 

 

Playing all the big hits from every period of popular music, The Big Swifty has made a name for itself as one of the hardest working bands in the state. 

 

Whether it's rock, pop, dance or anything else, The Swifty always delivers consistently, and it's this reason why they are seen playing in the top night spots and at Tasmania's big events like The Hobart Cup, The Taste of Tasmania and more recently the Hobart Hurricanes T20 Big Bash Cricket matches at Blundstone Arena.
